L.L. Bean Pima Percale 280TC Sheet Set Queen

Really comfy - I've had these two of these sheets: one for 4 years on a full and another for 1 year on a queen. They've never given me any trouble and still feel good after many wash cycles. They also feel good in both winter and summer.

Clean air makes your brain work better, although I think this was more useful in California during fire season than in New York. Update: canadian wildfires have been blasting smoke into NYC and I'm very glad I purchased this earlier.

Great vacuum cleaner: a pleasure to use, good suction, comfortable to hold (much lighter than much corded vacuums I've used), and also looks good just lying around the house. It comes with a bunch of extensions which help clean different parts of the house.

Snake plant! Super low maintenance, needs very little light and water, great for beginner plant owners. I've even heard you can put it in a corner with no light and it somehow does fine? I also like how the plant looks but that's definitely up to personal preference.

Sun Zero Easton Energy Saving Blackout Grommet Curtain

If my bed is near a window and enough light peeks through I'll just wake up regardless of if I've gotten enough sleep. These blackout curtains are how I prevent that: they totally block light and I can sleep until I naturally wake up. It's also good for midday naps... not that I take many of those.

Extendable shower rod for blackout curtain

I use this extendable rod to keep the blackout curtain on. Super easy to install, you just retract the rod, put it at the top of your window, and then extend it as far as it'll go to wedge it in. It's also quite sturdy (you have to really smack the curtain to get this to wall out) and doesn't leave a mark where it's installed, so you can remove it with no hassle if you're moving out.

Amazon Basics 3-Bag Rectangular Laundry Hamper Sorter Basket

I have a different, discontinued version of this but having a large & rollable laundry hamper is actually such a game changer. Not having to lug a huge basket full of dirty clothes around makes doing laundry so much nicer. The large size is also nice too, since I never have to worry about if there's enough room to add bedding or a towel or something to the current load. I can also keep the detergent and bleach in the cart so I never forget to take it with me to the laundry room. The only caveat is that you need to be able to get to your laundry without taking stairs (an elevator takes me to mine).

Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set

Replacement filters for the linked coway air purifier: the actual purifier has to be replaced every 12 months but the odor filters need to be replaced every 6 months. A little red light flashes on top of the purifier to indicate that one of the filters needs to be changed. Make sure to remove the plastic wrap before installing!

Cracked cleaner spray, I've been using this for 5 years and it's never failed me. Easy to spray/wipe, gets rid of most gunk super easily, smells nice, and isn't very pricy. Great product!

OxiClean Max Force Foam Laundry Pre-Treater

Super great for removing stains from clothes. I keep this by my laundry hamper and whenever I am about to throw in a piece of clothing which has a stain on it I just apply some of this. Even if there's still a few days before I do laundry, that treatment is enough to make sure the stain comes off and the piece of clothing looks good as new. I've removed coffee, blood, and grass stains with this: it also only takes a little dab (unless the stain is huge).

This is my go-to bug spray. Be warned that it's greasy (and apply after sunblock). It works great. If it holds up in the Amazon Rainforest, it's good to go.

These ant baits work great to stop ants from taking over your surfaces. They're pretty effective in my experience.

Want to eliminate an ant or roach on site? This spray will do it the trick. Works great in tandem with the ant bait traps, but I don't recommend spraying the spray where you think the ants are entering your dwelling.
